The Christmas Lobstar

Client: Marine Stewardship Council

The Brief: To create a Christmas-themed lesson plan for Australian teachers, based on The Space Telescopes Inspired by Lobsters video.

We designed a festive education campaign to encourage ocean literacy for learners. We designed a lesson plan where learners crafted a Christmas LobStar tree topper after a class discussion about lobsters. The lesson plan was accompanied by a tutorial video to assist learners in their crafting. To further promote educational content, a social media strategy was executed.

The Result: There were a total of 997 events on the Christmas resources page, including 231 downloads of the Christmas resources during the campaign week. This was a 563% increase in downloads from 2020. The average time spent on the page was also extremely high at 10m 14s.
