What is the 7-Step Branding Bootcamp?
This program is for small businesses that are active in their market, and want to take their brand to the next level. We’ve learnt from over a decade of brand experience where the usual issues might exist. Here, we guide you through a revitalisation of your visual identity and brand communications.
This program can be completed flexibly over 2-3 months and will result in better market traction, website traffic, visual communications, and confidence in your brand.

The first step is to onboard your business with the Green Island Creative team. Together, we’ll create a punchy and effective ‘Brand on a Page’ for your business.
The elements of your Brand on a Page include:
Mission statement
Vision statement
Unique Value Proposition (UVP)
Tone of voice
5 Brand pillars (purpose, perception, identity, values, experience)

In Step 2 we will conduct an audit of your website and produce a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) report for your site.
In the SEO audit and report we will:
Scan your website for errors
Identify key issues (e.g. low page count, duplicate tags, duplicate meta-descriptions)
Generate a list of recommended keywords
Provide guidance on link building
Provide an on-page SEO score
Generate a list of your key competitors

In Step 3 we will conduct an audit of your social media channels and presence.
Social listening is how we determine what people are saying about your brand on the internet. It provides us with valuable insight into what your customers think about you, gaps in the market that your brand could potentially fill, and showcasing how you fill these gaps through your social content.
A content and channel audit lets us look at the platforms that your brand is on, evaluate how effectively they’re being used and make any recommendations to ensure the content is focused in the right direction.
In this social media audit and report will assess:
Top performing channels
Brand consistency across channels
Your audience demographics
Top performing content
Competitor analysis
Additional channels to consider for your brand

In Step 4, we will identify the content pillars and market opportunities for your digital communications. Like one of those office movie scenes where a bloke in a polo shirt slaps a post-it on the wall… This is that moment for your business. The word maps, semantics and language developed in this session will develop your brand's tone of voice, and inform the changes we implement in Step 6. This step is vital if you are working with multiple employees and agencies that help you to create content.

In Step 5, we will build a marketing strategy for your brand. This document will equip you with a multi-channel strategy that you can outsource, or roll out in-house, over a 12-month period. The marketing strategy will incorporate your business goals, upcoming events and product/offering changes and, most importantly, the budget and time you are able to dedicate to marketing. We can come up with show-stopping campaign ideas all day, but you need the energy and finances to see it through, even without our help.
We will provide a clear, personalised 12-month strategy for:
Building an effective content calendar
Content/goal relevant pillars and content starters
Best days and times to schedule content
Community management
Crafting responsive content (adapting on-the-go)
Advice and references for tools that can assist you in creating great content and implementing your strategy
Adapting your content to a wide audience of different backgrounds, access and ability levels.

In Step 6, we will conduct a complete brand audit for your business, and provide specific feedback to improve your brand and customer experience.
What is a brand audit?
In the brand audit we will:
Conduct a multi-channel analysis of your brand including website, online profiles and social media.
Assess your existing branding (logo, colour and type, illustrations) and advise on ways it could be changed or improved.
Analyse your market peers and competition, and provide a report on key competitive businesses
Provide strategies to augment your customers ‘brand experience’ in person and online

In this final step we will workshop new marketing opportunities for your business across digital, physical and community-led settings, including potential ideas for collaboration or partnerships with other businesses.

Business Naming Workshop: If your business is still in start-up phase, or undergoing a complete overhaul, we recommend this add on to Step 1.
Brand Taglines: During Step 1, we can develop a set of brand-aligned taglines.
Google Analytics: In Step 2, We can assist with setting up Google Analytics and Google Search Console for your website, to help you target website traffic more efficiently.
How much does the Green Island Creative brand building bootcamp cost?
The 7 Step Branding Bootcamp is a package with a set fee of AUD $3500 (exc. GST). That said, if you just need support with one or several of the bootcamp steps, reach out and we can quote you for a personalised program that suits your needs.
